During SID Displayweek BOE demonstrated a couple of interesting OLED displays aimed towards monitors and laptops.
The first display you can see in the video is a 49-inch wide (32:9) 3840x1080 240Hz AMOLED gaming monitor display, that features a brightness of 150 nits (500 nits peak) and a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut.
BOE did not disclose much about the structure, architecture and production process of this interesting display.
The second display is a a 14" 4K AMOLED display for laptops. The display features a brightness of 400 nits, and it is only 1.443 mm thick and weighs just 140 grams.

It is quite disappointing that as 2020, the choice for laptops equiped with an OLED display is still very limited...
I am really willing to but a thin, lighweight and fanless laptop with a 13.5inch / 14inch 3K or 4K LTPO touch OLED display like a fanless Apple Macbook Air / fanless Huawei Matebook X Pro / fanless Microsoft Surface laptop : would be supercool
No one that push, on the real market, a 30" - 40" OLED for $2.000??? The best as of now is the $500 Samsung 4K 15,6" mounted on some notebooks.
