Pico Interactive Eagle

Pico Interactive's Eagle is a mobile HMD based on Kopin's latest 0.49" 1280x720 OLED microdisplays. The eagle's displays are equivalent to an 80" screen viewed from 3 meters.

The Eagle is made by Pico Interactive's Qingdao Yueshi Technology subsidiary, partly owned by Kopin. which Kopin has taken an equity stake in. Qingdao Yueshi will be making, marketing, and distributing the Eagle headset. The company did not yet detail the availability or price of the Eagle HMD.

VRgineers XTAL

VRgineers's XTAL (previously called VRHero 5K Plus) is a high end VR platform that is based around a VR headset that features dual 5.7" 2560x1440 (518 PPI) VR AMOLED displays. The HMD features a wide 170-degrees FOV, custom-built optics and supports NVIDIA's VRWorks framework and various 3rd-party SDKs.

HTC Vive Focus

HTC's Vive Focus, announced in November 2017 in China, is a premium standalone VR headset build on HTC's Vive Wave VR open platform. The headset uses "high resolution" AMOLED displays (HTC did not release the specification yet), a snapdragon 835 CPU and 3DoF controllers.

HTC did not disclose the shipping date or price of the Vive Focus, but it did say it will be launched in China first.

Six15 Enterprise AR Smart Glasses

Six15's AR Smart Glasses Platform is a lightweight AR platform that uses a 640x400 300 cd/m2 OLED microdisplay to provide a 20.3 degrees FOV. The Android-based HMD includes a 5MP camera, 9 DoF sensor and a microphone.

Samsung HMD Odyssey

Samsung's HMD Odyssey is a premium "Mixed-Reality / AR" headset that is based on Microsoft's VR Platform. The Odyssey uses dual 3.5-inch 1440x1600 90Hz AMOLED displays. Other features include built-in AKG headphones for 360-degrees spatial sound, a 110-degrees FOV and an array of sensors and cameras so that no external motion sensors are required.

Asus MR 2017

The Asus MR (Mixed Reality) headset, developed in collaboration with Microsoft, uses two 2.89-inch 1440x1440 AMOLED displays. The HMD achieves a 95 FOV, weighs just 400 grams and will be based on Microsoft's future Windows Mixed Reality platform.

Asus did not yet reveal the launch date of the MR HMD, but the price is expected to be around €450. Asus will also offer optional motion controllers.

ODG R-9

ODG's R-9 is an augmented reality (AR) headset that provides a 50-degrees FOV based on a FHD (1080p) OLED microdisplay. The R-8 is based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 CPU and ODG's own Project Horizon platform, and supports Qualcomm's Snapdragon VR SDK and PTC's Vuforia AR platform.

The R-8 is an augmented reality (AR) headset that provides a 40-degrees FOV based on a 720p OLED microdisplay. The R-8 is based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 CPU and supports Qualcomm's Snapdragon VR SDK and PTC's Vuforia AR platform.

eMagin BlazeTorch

eMagin's BlazeTorch is a consumer sports enthusiast night-vision goggles that features an SXGA (1280x1024) OLED Microdisplay, a sub-lux night-sensor, HD A/V recording on an SD card and a built-in IR illuminator.

The BlazeTorch started shipping in 2017, but it is no longer available. The Price was supposed to be $999 but some reports suggest eMagin is increasing the price to $1,699.

Royole Moon

Royole's Moon is a foldable 3D VR headset that use OLED microdisplays. The only technical details on the displays is that they achieve a PPI of over 3,000. The Moon also includes noise-cancelling headphones and runs on the company's own Moon OS. Games and content can be run from the internal memory - or via HDMI and USB interfaces.
