The R-8 is an augmented reality (AR) headset that provides a 40-degrees FOV based on a 720p OLED microdisplay. The R-8 is based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 CPU and supports Qualcomm's Snapdragon VR SDK and PTC's Vuforia AR platform.
The R-8 will ship in the second half of 2017 for "less than $1,000".
