According to Android Authority, LG is aiming to launch a successor to the G Flex at CES 2015 (January 2015). According to the blog, the G Flex 2 will be a major upgrade with a higher-resolution plastic-based OLEDs and a smaller form factor. Reportedly it will be more flexible than the original G Flex.
This is interesting - earlier this month it was reported in an Israeli newspaper that LG Electronics is developing a mini-version of the curved G Flex phone. It will be great to see another flexible OLED phone from LG.
LG's G Flex, the first device to use LG Display's flexible plastic OLED display, has a 6" 720p flexible OLED display that is curved from top to bottom (unlike Samsung's Galaxy Round which is curved from left to right). The G Flex used a curved battery produced by LG Chem. In March 2014 I posted a review of the G Flex.
More flexibility and higher res POLED display are huge ++, but all the rumors pointing toward a smaller form factor (and still no idea about microSD card support) has ruined it for me. I jumped at the $200 phone turn in deal and got a Note 4, awesome phone, but I sure loved the ergonomics of and screen size of the 6" LG G Flex alot more. Im sure not alot say this but I still feel the 5.7" Note 4 is too small lol.
