Samsung Display started producing 15.6" 4K AMOLED displays in 2019 for the laptop market, which kickstarted the OLED laptop market as several leading makers (including HP, Lenovo and Dell) started to offer high-end OLED laptops. Since then SDC added more OLED laptop displays to its lineup, and other OLED producers (such as EDO and BOE) started to offer laptop panels as well.

The first new display will be a 15.6-inch FHD model which SDC plans to start producing next month, which the company hopes will be in high demand as this meets the most popular laptop display specification. The company hopes to increase its OLED laptop sales 5X compared to 2020 as demand for IT displays is high.

I have the Samsung 15,6" 4K AMOLED mounted on my Dell XPS 15 7590 and it's gorgeous. Love it!

“The company will launch displays ranging from 13.3-inch to 16-inch to meet customer demand.”

We already had 15.6″ OLED panels, so the progress is just 0.4″ (if 16 doesn’t actually mean the same 15.6). Wow, that’s “amazing”.

Where are 24–27″ OLED 4K monitors, Samsung?

Barry Young (manager of the OLED Association) talking about Samsung, wrote: "the Visual Display division, which is also responsible for monitors and notebooks has agreed to sell QD-OLED high end monitors in the 33” to 35” range".

Samsung could unveiled them at CES 2021. Let's see what happens!

Why would anyone want a Laptop with a 24-27" OLED screen?

Actually, already 17" Inch Laptops are annoying and human Kind should have never introduced those, since they are only used by companies to express dislike to their employees.
