Hyundai LCD

Hyundai LCD has been making LCDs since 1998 (as a division of Hyundai Electronics Industries). The company became independent on 2002 and is focused on display production. It is branding itself as HYeLCD.

HYeLCD used to also offer PMOLED panels, but it seems that they no longer do.

IDTechEx

IDTechEx logoIDTechEx offers independent market research, business intelligence and advice on emerging technologies.

The company offers reports on organic electronics, flexible displays, OLED lighting and printed electronics.

Innovacene

Innovacene (founded in 2010 by a New Hampshire University professor) is commercializing new thin, organic and ultra-lightweight coating for OLED and organic solar cells.

The company is no longer is business and its web site (innovacene.com) is down.

Inteltronic

Inteltronic logo

Inteltronic is the US sales partner for WiseChip and provides display panels, solar panels and LED lighting. Inteltronic sells WiseChip's PMOLED character (16x2, 20x2) and graphic displays (from 0.66" up to 5.5").

iSuppli

iSuppli provided technology market intelligence and research. The company covers all aspects of the display industry, including LCD, PDP, OLEDs, Projection, TV, and more.

In 2014 iSuppli was acquired by IHS.

Konica Minolta Pioneer OLED

Konica Minolta Pioneer OLED logoKonica Minolta Pioneer OLED was established in 2017 as a joint venture between Konica Minolta and Pioneer to accelerate automotive OLED lighting. The new company was formed with an initial capital of 490 million yen (about $4.4 million) and a focus on OLED lighting for automotive applications.

The new "strategic alliance" was to combine KM's roll-to-roll flexible OLED production equipment and technology with Pioneer's achievement in OLED panel mass-production and market rollout and its car electronics business know-how. In 2019 the company was dissolved following Pioneer's withdrawal from the OLED lighting market.

Kyocera Display

Kyocera logoKyocera Display was established in December 2011 when Kyocera bought Optrex. The company offers LCD and PMOLED displays. It is not clear whether Kyocera still products OLED displays.

Leadis

Leadis was a fabless company that developed mixed-signal semiconductors. Leadis focused on LED drivers/controllers and also used to make PMOLED and AMOLED drivers (using their EPiC Technology for AMOLED controllers).

In January 2009 Leadis sold its driver business to Korea based AsTEK, although Leadis remained the owner of the AMOLED EpiC technology IP. In 2012 the company liquidated and is no longer in business.
