Tianma demonstrated the company's latest OLED panels at SID 2016. Tianma is developing flexible OLEDs, and the company had a 5.5" prototype on display:
The panel featured a resolution of 720x1280 (270 PPI) and a bending radius of 20 mm. This seems to be the same panel demonstrated at MWC 2016.
Tianma also demonstrated rigid (non-flexible, glass-based) AMOLEDs. First up we have the 5.5" HD (720x1280) On-Cell touch AMOLED, which will be TianMa's first commercial OLEDs. The company aims to start production by the end of 2016.
Tianma was also showing a rigid 5.2" AMOLED. This panel has a Full-HD resolution, a luminance of 350 nits and a contrast ratio of 10,000:1.
