Samsung announced several new devices today, all utilizing AMOLED displays. We'll start with the two new foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. The Fold5 offers a foldable 7.6" 120Hz 1812x2176 foldable AMOLED display, and a 6.2" 120Hz 904x2316 cover AMOLED. The phone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage and a triple camera setup.
Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip5 smartphone offers a foldable 6.7" 120Hz 1080x2640 foldable AMOLED display, and a small 3.4" 720x748 cover Super AMOLED display. The phone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage and a dual camera setup.
Samsung's Galaxy Tab S9 series, made out of 3 devices (Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, Tab S9 Ultra) are all based on AMOLED displays. The Tab S9 offers an 11" 120Hz 1600x2560 AMOLED display, the S9 Plus offers a 12.4" 120Hz 1752x2800 AMOLED and the S9 Ultra offers a 14.6" 120Hz 1848x2960 AMOLED display. The tablets are all powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and are all dust and water resistant.
Finally, Samsung's 2023 smartwatch series, the Watch6, offers two models (Watch6 and Watch6 classic), both with similar displays - either a 1.3" 432x432 or a 1.5" 480x480 Super AMOLED. The Android Wear 4 OS devices both offer 2G of RAM, 16GB of storage and several sensors.
All of Samsung's new devices will start shipping on August 11.
