Seeya developed a 1.03" 2560x2560 OLED microdisplay
China-based OLED Microdisplay producer SeeYa Information Technology is introducing two new OLED microdisplays. The first display is a 1.03" 2560x2560 panel that features a brightness of 3,000 nits. SeeYa says this is the world's largest and highest resolution microdisplay (there are higher resolution displays in development, for example eMagin for example is developing a 4k x 4k OLED microdisplay).
The second display is a 0.72-inch display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution. The 1.03" display is specifically designed for near-eye applications that require a large Field Of View (FoV) - and SeeYa's new dsplay can enable an FoV of over 100 degrees.
