Samsung has sold over 200,000 Galaxy S phones in South Korea - in just 10 days. That's a very good number for the Korean market. The Galaxy S Android phone has a 4" 800x480 Super-AMOLED display, 1Ghz Processor and can shoot HD videos (720p). You
can buy the Galaxy S unlocked in the US for $599.

A few days ago we reported that the Samsung S8500-Wave phone is finally shipping in the US - and it costs $499 unlocked. The phone is now selling for only $399 - that's a nice $100 discount in a few days.... The wave is Samsung's first Bada phone, and the first one to have a super AMOLED display (3.3" 800x480). Samsung is said to release a new Android 2.1 phone soon, the Intercept. This will be a successor to the Moment phone, which was very popular. It will be a QWERTY slider, that will most likely use have a 3.2" AMOLED display.

There are some rumors about an upcoming Nokia phone, the N9. It is said to be a Symbian ^3 phone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It will have a 12mp camera and a Super-AMOLED display.
There are some questions here: first of all, Nokia said last week that the N8 will be the latest N-series that runs Symbian. Second, We heard that Samsung Electronics will be the only company that gets Super-AMOLED displays, for at least 18 months. We'll keep waiting for news on that one.

If you don't want to wait for AT&T to release Samsung's Super-AMOLED Galaxy S, you can get it unlocked in the US for $899 (over at Amazon.com). Beside the 4" WVGA Super-AMOLED display, the Android Galaxy S has a 1 Ghz processor, Samsung's 'content Ecosystem' and Social Hub and can shoot HD video at 720p (with a 5mp camera).

CNet has posted an interesting video in which they test whether AMOLED displays are better than LCDs. The conclusions? The AMOLED provide better colors, but also less accurate ones. They also suffer under sunlight (although the new Super-AMOLEDs are quite good). See for yourself: (update: the video is no longer available)
Samsung say that the Galaxy Beam will launch on July, in Singapore (a European and Asian launch will follow soon afterwards). The Galaxy Beam has a 3.7" Super-AMOLED, WVGA DLP pico-projector, Android v2.1, Wi-Fi, 8mp camera, A-GPS, FM radio and HD video recording.

There are reports that Samsung is working on a new WiMAX phone, the Galaxy-S Pro. The "original" Galaxy-S has a Super-AMOLED display, so we can assume that this one has the same display.
Update: A Samsung Executive (J.K. Shin, president of Samsung's mobile communications division) has confirmed that Samsung are working on a table, to be called Galaxy Tab, to be released no later than 3Q 2010.
We have some fresh rumors about Samsung's upcoming Tablet: according to a Vietnamese site, it will be named Galaxy Tape (and not tab), and indeed come with a 7" Super-AMOLED. Other features include a 1.2Ghz A8 processor, Android 2.2, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD slot. It'll weigh 370 grams. Galaxy Tape sounds weird to me, but if these are the true specs, this is one exciting gadget...
