Sony has revealed a new OLED TV prototype - a 21" panel with 1366x768 resolution. The whole thickness is only 1.4mm, and the contrast ratio is 1,000,000:1 - similar to the XEL-1 TV.

Sony has actually announced it will release a new OLED TV (The XEL-2?) by May 2009. The original plan was to release a 27" model, but perhaps this is proving too difficult for Sony, and they will first go with a 21" panel?
