Two weeks ago we reported that Sandisk is set to release a new MP3 player with an AMOLED display. Today Sandisk has indeed officially announced the Sansa Fuze+, but unfortunately it has an LCD display, not an AMOLED.
It might be that the earlier report was simply wrong - but it's also possible that Sandisk decided to go with an LCD at the last moment because of AMOLED supply shortage.
