Philips' OLED 804 and OLED 854 TVs are the top of the company's 2019 TV lineup, announced in January 2019. Both TVs feature 55" and 65" 4K WRGB OLED panels (made by LG Display), Philips' 3-gen P5 Perfect Picture Engine, Ambilight on three sides, HLG and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
The Philips 804 OLED TV and the 854 OLED TVs are both based on Android OS (v9) with a built-in Google Assistant (the TVs are also certified as "Works with Alexa" so can be controlled via an Amazon Echo speaker). Philips says that the new display engine (3-gen P5 processor) improves noise reduction and contrast. The OLED panels themselves have a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. The 2.1 50-watt sound system supports Dolby Atoms.
The OLED804 and OLED854 seems to have similar specs - the only difference is the stands (the 804 has slim metal feet while the 854 has a T-bar stand).
The OLED 804 OLED TV is now shipping globally - and Philips says it will bring it to the US in 2020 as well.
