Apple Watch

Apple's first wearable device, the Watch, is also the company's first product with an OLED display. It uses a flexible OLED panel produced by LG Display. There are several Watch models, some use a 38mm display (272x340, 290 PPI) and some a slightly larger 42 mm panel (312x390, 302 PPI). Apple refers to the display as a flexible Retina display.

Besides the square flexible OLED, the Watch has a new custom-designed Apple S1 processor, 8GB of storage, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, three sensors (Accelerometer, gyroscope and heart rate monitor) and the new Watch OS. There are several Watch editions, ranging from $349 to $17,000. Apple started shipping the Watch on April 24th 2015.

Hannspree's Sportwatch is a simple and affordable activity tracker, that sports the a pedometer and sleep monitor, Bluetooth to connect to your Android phone (for data transfer and notification display) and a 0.68" monochrome (blue) PMOLED display.

HTC Grip

HTC's Grip is a fitness tracker that was developed together with Under Armour. The wearable device sports a curved monochrome (white) PMOLED display, which seems to be Futaba's 1.4" 128x16 film OLED (similar to the one used in Garmin's Vivosmart). The Grip includes the usual range of sensors in addition to an internal GPS chip.

The Grip was supposed to ship in the US in the spring for $199, but HTC later decided to re-design the device and this specific design will never ship.

Acer Liquid Leap+

Acer's Liquid Leap+ is a smart fitness tracker that tracks your activitiy and sleep cycles. The Leap+ uses Bluetooth to communicate with your iOS, Android or Windows Phone and it sports  small 1" white PMOLED display.

Pivotal Living Tracker 1

Pivotal Living's Pivotal Tracker 1 is a fitness band with a unique business model: you pay $12 per year in subscription (first year is $15), and the hardware is free. The tracker 1 measures steps, distance traveled, calories burned and also includes a sleep tracker. It uses a small blue PMOLED display.

Fitbit Charge

Fitbit's Charge is a fitness tracker and sleep tracker that also connects to your phone to show caller-ID. The Charge uses a small monochrome (white) PMOLED display (made by WiseChip). The Charge HR is similar to the Charge but with a heart-rate monitor.

The Charge is now available for $130. The Charge HR will launch in early 2015 for $150.

Garmin Vivosmart

Garmin's Vivosmart is a smart band that includes a fitness tracker and notification display from your smartphone (iOS and Android). The Vivosmart uses Futaba's flexible (curved) 1.4" 128x16 white PMOLED panel.

This device can count your steps, monitor your sleeping and calories burned and also measure the distance you've walked. The band is powered by low-energy bluethooth and can last seven days between charges. It is also waterproof up to 50 meters and is compatible with heart rate monitors and bike speed sensors.
