Now's your chance to get an OLED TV, cheaper than ever

If you always wanted an OLED TV, but thought it was too expensive, maybe now's your chance. If you live in the UK, anyway. LG is now offering the EL9500 for "only" £1,058 (down from £1,970, that's almost a 50% drop). If you rather have the Sony XEL-1, it costs £999 (but hurry up, there's only one left in stock).

If you live in the US, you may be happy to know that the PVM-2541 is now down to $5490. And you'll get Sony's latest 25.4" OLED panel, Full-HD (1080p), 178-degrees viewing angle, 10-bit drivers and a 1W mono speaker.

You may also wait a couple of weeks and get the HMZ-T1 HUD for $799. It's now available on Amazon.com (but it isn't shipping yet) - and you'll get the feeling you're looking at a 750" OLED TV from 20 meters. The HMZ-T1 uses Sony's 1280x720 0.7" OLED microdisplays.
