LOPE-C (Large-area, Organic & Printed Electronics Convention) is the leading, fully industry-sponsored annual organic and printed electronics conference and exhibition. LOPE-C is now in its tth year, and this 2013 event will include a business conference, a technical & scientific conference and short courses. The SID Display Week is the premier display industry showcase in North America. It's a gathering of scientists, engineers, manufacturers, and users in the electronic-display industry. Lot's of companies usually unveil new OLED prototypes, products and technologies during this week.

The Smart Lighting conference is a business oriented conference titled "New business opportunities for lighting Made in Europe". The event consists of a high level conference and a showcase with demonstrator projects and poster sessions. During the main event there will be seminars held on lighting design and architecture.

Singapore's international LED/OLED technology tradeshow includes a conference and exhibition. The exhibition includes several categories: LED and OLED materials and components, LED/OLED lighting fixtures, display and digital signage, manufacturing & test equipment and LED/OLED applications.

The Lightfair International event is the world's largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference. The event includes an exhibition, seminars, workshops, courses, keynote speeches and awards. Lightfair 2013 will include several OLED seminars and workshops.

Europe's Printed Electronics show is in its 9th year and (according to IDTechEx, the organizers) it's Europe's leading event on printed, organic and flexible electronics.

The China FPD Conference is an international conference focusing on flat panel displays, a collaboration between SEMI and SID. Topics this year will include OLED, touch panels, LTPS, LCDs, 3D displays, flexible displays, e-paper displays, tv technology and image processing.

Phosphor Global Summit (now in its 11th year) focuses on phosphors, with special sessions on phosphors for OLEDs and emissive displays.

The US FPD conference (now in its 15th year) is organized by DisplaySearch and is focused on flat-panel displays. Sessions include:

• Display industry, devices, and supply chains
• New technologies enabling smart devices
• Software environment for smart devices (OS and Apps)
• Business models for smart devices
• Consumer behaviors related to smart devices

During this OLED course, the Fraunhofer institute will offer several English seminars that will give an introduction in OLED technology, the integration in rigid and flexible substrates as well as on CMOS chips and an overview on possible components and applications. This will be illustrated by the manufacturing processes, applications and products of Fraunhofer COMEDD Dresden.

The participants of the seminar will be able to identify chances of the novel technology and specify possible products. Prices are €1050 for the two days or €650 for a single day.

Lighting Fair 2013 is Japan's largest lighting exhibition, and this year the focus will be on LED and OLED technologies. LF13 will feature four different exhibition zones:

CeBIT is the digital industry's biggest, most international event - with an exhibition, conferences, keynotes, corporate events and lounges. We can expect a lot of OLED product announcements, and also some interesting prototypes and technology demos.
