This 3-day Exhibition and technology conference (co-hosted with the LED EXPO), now in its 12th year, focuses on OLED technologies and attracts OLED makers as well as makers of production and testing equipment. The main conference themes are around AMOLED, PMOLED, TOLED, OLED panels, OLED modules and Equipment and inspection & measurement equipment.

The 15th Krutyn summer school will focus on challenge in organic photonics and electronics, from material to market from an Asian perspective. This unique event is organized jointly by Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics Research (OPERA) in Kyushu University, Japan, Polish Supramolecular Chemistry Network Foundation, and the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland.

The SID Display Week is the premier display industry showcase in North America. In past event many companies discussed and demonstrated new and existing OLED panels and technologies, and we expect OLEDs to take an even larger part of the 2014 exhibition. 

We attended SID 2012, here are our notes and impressions.

The Lightfair International event is the world's largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference.The event includes an exhibition, seminars, workshops, courses, keynote speeches and awards.

Past events included several OLED seminars and workshops, and we expect the 2014 event to feature even more OLEDs as the technology matures and enters the marketplace.

Wearable and Flexible Technologies World (WFTW) 2014 is an event focused on wearable technologies that will bring together companies from the industry supply chain and other specialists to discuss the latest technologies and trends. It will be co-hosted with the 2nd annual global Augmented Reality summit. The event will include lectures, an exhibition and networking opportunities.

Smart Lighting (now in its 4th year) is a conference and exhibition. The event focuses on state-of-the-art in technology, applications, business models and best practices in intelligent and dynamic solid state lighting worldwide.

Finetech Japan (now in its 25th year) showcases components, materials, and manufacturing equipment for flat-panel display development and manufacturing. Fairs specialized in "Touch Panel", "Nanoimprint" and "Printed Electronics" technologies will also be held together.

Printed Electronics Europe is a leading event focusing on printed electronics - with an exhibition, masterclasses, tours, manufacturing street and demonstration street.

The event is co-located with OLEDs Live! and Graphene Live!

The OLEDs Live! conference (co-located with Printed Electronics Europe and Graphene Live! Europe) aims to bring together users, material providers, equipment makers, policy makers, academics and investors from around the world - to focus on OLED technologies.

The key topics for this conference: 

Light+Building is the world's biggest trade fair for lighting and intelligent buildings. The main theme of Light+Building 2012 was energy efficiency, and the show hosted several OLED lighting panel makes and installations.

The International Conference on Energy Efficient LED Lighting and Solar PhotoVoltaic Systems (ELED & SPV) discusses the science, technology, production, economy and increased usage of LED lighting and solar photovoltaic systems. The conference covers emerging OLED technologies as well.

The Phosphor Global Summit (now in its 12th year) focuses on phosphors, with special sessions on phosphors for OLEDs and emissive displays. Sessions will include topics such as:

• Developments in phosphor applications
• Phosphors for solid-state white lighting: Efficiency considerations and laser-based lighting
• Laser pumped phosphors: Applications and technology challenges
• New scintillators for Gamma Spectroscopy and non-intrusive inspection
