Kodak's display president resigned

Kodak's display unit president, Willy C. Shih, announced his resignation. Kodak is "refining their participation model" in the OLED business, but they say that the resignation was due to personal reasons and not because of the changes in the OLED unit.

eMagin reports Q3 2004 results: revenues increase 102% in past 9 months

eMagin announced their financial results for Q3 2004. Revenues in the quarter were $1.1 million, an increase of 45% as compared to Q3 2003 ($748,000). Revenues for the first nine months of 2004 amounted to $3.1 million, an increase of 102% compared to the same period in 2003 ($1.5 million).

emagin's net loss in the quarter was $2.3 million, compared to $0.9 million in Q3 2003.

United Radiant unveils new 50,000h PMOLEDs

United Radiant Technology is unveiling new PMOLED displays that feature an operating lifetime of 7,000 to 50,000 hours. These displays are designed for telecom, portable devices and signboard applications.

The UMOH-7492, UMOH-7493 and UMOH-7553 OLED displays feature low-power consumption, improved resolution and faster response times.
