Chinese TV maker Skyworth demonstrated a transparent OLED TV prototype at CES 2020. Interestingly the TV offers a special "translucent" mode, as you can see in the video:

Skyworth is likely to be using LG's 55" transparent OLED panels. LG started to produce commercial transparent OLED TV panels in early 2019.

According to reports, Philips will bring its OLED 804 TVs to the US. The 804 Series uses LG's 55" and 65" WRGB OLEDs and feature Philips' 3-gen P5 Perfect Picture Engine, Ambilight on three sides, HLG and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision (maximum brightness is 1,000 nits).

The Philips 804 OLED TV is based on Android OS (v9) with built-in Google Assistant and a certified as "Works with Alexa". Philips also offers the OLED 854 which is the same TV but with a T-bar stand instead of the 804's slim metal feet.

Update: It seems we were mistaken, this prototype is not a hybrid QD-OLED, but a 'regular' OLED. This is still an impressive development - a rollable inkjet-printed OLED display.

TCL and Juhua Printing demonstrated a 31" FHD inkjet-printed rollable hybrid QD-OLED TV prototype. The display uses an IGZO (Oxide-TFT) backplane and TCL says that it has an aperture ratio of over 50%, brightness of 200 nits and a 90% DCI-P3 color gamut.

TCL's hybrid display technology (which TCL calls H-QLED) uses a blue OLED emitter coupled with red and green QD emitters. All three emitter materials are combined and printed using ink-jet printing technology.

Digital Trends published this nice video that shows LG's OLED booth at CES 2020, which shows LG's newest OLED TV technologies - including the 8K TVs, the Gallery OLED TVs and the rollable TV prototypes and products on display:

LG Display says that it aims to ship over 6 million OLED TV panels in 2020 - that's double what it shipped in 2019. The company also says that it expects its Guangzhou fab starts mass producing panels in Q1 2020, earlier than previous estimated.

Previous estimates, by LG and others, were for around 5.5 million panels in 2020, even before the Guangzhou fab delays. It's possible that LG aims to ship more panels - but some of these will be smaller in size (the new 48-inch panels the company is starting to produce).

Both Sony and Panasonic announced new OLED TVs for 2020. First up, and most interesting, is Sony's Bravia A9S Master Series - the company's first 48" 4K OLED TV. The A9S is based on Google's Android smart TV platform and features Sony's Acoustic Surface and the company's X1 Ultimate picture processor among other features.

Sony also announced the A8H OLED TV range that come in either 55" or 65" sizes and support similar technologies to the A9S.

LG is demonstrating a new roll-down 65" 4K OLED TV prototype, and the BBC posted this nice video that shows this new panel, in addition to other LG OLED technologies shown at CES 2020:

LG announced its 2020 OLED TV lineup - which includes 14 new OLED TVs, with some exciting new models and options.

Starting at the entry-level, LG will offer the OLEDBX and OLEDCX ranges, which will be what most people will opt for. The most interesting new model is the 48-inch OLED 48CX. It will be interesting to see LG's pricing for the 48-inch model, it was not announced yet.

US-based Vizio announced that it will launch its first ever OLED TV later in 2020. The company did not yet release the model name, but said that the 4K TVs will come in either 55-inch and 65-inch.

Vizio's OLEDs will feature VIZIO’s IQ Ultra processor and will be borderless and only 4mm thick.

Chinese TV makers Skyworth and Konka both announced new OLED TVs, and for the first time these brands will ship their new TVs in the US (and hopefully in other countries outside of China as well). The companies did not announce the shipping date or price of the new TVs yet.

So first up we have Konka's X11 Series, that feature LG's 55" and 65" 4K WRGB panels, with Konka's ZeroBezel Ultra Design with built-in sound bar including dbx TV Sound enhancement.
