Korea-based Poongwon Precision, established in 1996, produced components for the display industry, based on its foil metal processing technology.
For the OLED industry, Poongwon offers Fine Metal Masks, Open Metal masks, Stick Bar Masks, and metal foils for encapsulation of OLED devices. In June 2024 it was reported that the company's FMM sheets were approved by Samsung Display and the company will start mass production in Q3 2024.
